Teltech Communication’s owner’s Lisa Hanlon and Kelley Church-Bontempo recently attended the WEConnect conference in Europe.  WEConnect International is an organization that works on a global front to help connect woman-owned businesses.  Lisa and Kelley are both involved in WBENC (Women Business Enterprise National Council), and this event was a great opportunity for Teltech to not only help other women-owned businesses accomplish their goals but also increase Teltech’s growth globally.

There is a growing number of large organizations that want to source from women owned businesses, but until recently there was not a global standard. WEConnect is helping expand woman and minority business owner’s networks, recognize and share success stories, and share best practices and policies to accelerate the global program.

Following WEConnect the ladies were in Florida for NMSDC, the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council.  Attending the NMSDC allows Teltech to meet with our customers and potential partners all in one location.   Teltech is also in the process of completing the NMSDC certification so we will be a part of this organization within the next few months.
